Do you need health insurance but you’re still confused about Obamacare?
State Rep. Henry Yanez, with the assistance of several state officials, is holding a town hall in Sterling Heights on the Affordable Care Act from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. tonight.
As the Oct. 1 start of Obamacare enrollment approaches, Yanez will be joined at the event by four groups that are spreading the word about the new health care system.
Participating in the forum are: Caleb Buhs from the Michigan Department of Insurance and Financial Services; Dick Miles, Jackie Prokop and Karla Ruest from the Michigan Department of Community Health; Don Hazaert from Michigan Consumers for Healthcare; Andy Farmer from AARP; Ryan Cowmeadow from the Area Agency on Aging 1-B; and Mike Radtke from Enroll America.
The free event will be held at the Polish Century Club, 33204 Maple Lane, at the northeast corner of 14 Mile Road and Hoover.
