Voters embarrassingly uninformed about Obamacare

The next time you hear a member of Congress say that polls show Americans oppose Obamacare (which could be any minute now), consider the results of the new CNBC poll.
CNBC, engaged in a bit of trickery, asked this poll question: Which plan do you like, Obamacare or the Affordable Care Act (which, of course, are one in the same)?

Demonstrating a stunning degree of ignorance on the subject, 29 percent of the voters surveyed said they support Obamacare rather than the ACA. In turn, 22 percent said they prefer the ACA over Obamacare. Forty-six percent oppose Obamacare and 37 percent oppose the ACA.

A quarter of respondents said they didn't know enough to have an opinion, but obviously that number is far below the realities of the situation. Clearly, a large swath of the American electorate is too embarrassed to admit that they are clueless about perhaps the biggest new government program in recent history.
If you doubt that, take a look at this video, shot by Jimmy Kimmel’s Q&A crew, which features several man-in-the-street interviews.
It's funny. But also sad. Very sad.
