The site, which part of the official Tigers web site, provides a panoramic photo of Comerica Park taken during the most recent Tigers game and it allows you to swivel and zoom dramatically to view any group of seats you want. You can see your family at last night's playoff game. Or if a blowhard co-worker tells you, "Hey, I was right there when V-Mart's homer just barely cleared the fence," ask him what section he was sitting in and use this site to see if he's hurling some BS.
The site's features are similar to Google Earth and Google Maps, but its zoom capabilities are astounding. Thanks to a technology called TagOramic, which provides photos with an amazing 1,775 megapixels, you can blow up the photo to the point where a family of four takes up nearly an entire computer screen.
