Jindal is keynoter at Mich GOP Mac Conference


Bobby Jindal will be a keynote speaker at the annual Republican conference on Mackinac Island in September.

Louisiana Governor and Republican Governors Association Chairman Bobby Jindal is confirmed to speak at the 30thBiennial Mackinac Republican Leadership Conference this September. He is scheduled to make a keynote address on Saturday evening, Sept. 21, 2013, at the historic Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island.

“The Michigan Republican Party is proud to have Governor Jindal speak at the Mackinac Republican Leadership Conference,” said Michigan Republican Party Chairman Bobby Schostak. “Governor Jindal’s bold reforms have helped create more economic prosperity for the people of Louisiana, and we look forward to working with him and learning about his experiences.”

Among a long list of accomplishments since entering office in 2008, Governor Jindal has been commended for passing landmark education reforms that expand school choice and rewards teachers, reining in government spending, cutting taxes and creating an environment where businesses want to create new jobs. He is also the current Chairman of the Republican Governors Association.

Governor Jindal said, “As Chairman of the Republican Governors Association, I look forward to sharing the success stories of the Republican Governors who are helping to lead America’s comeback by cutting spending, balancing budgets, improving education and pursuing free-market solutions to help solve problems.”
