Now that a lawsuit has revealed more details about Jim Fouts’ profanity-laced phone tantrums that were caught on tape, we know what the Warren mayor’s weapons of choice are -- depending on who his target might be.
A lawsuit filed by the whistleblower who released the tapes and was subsequently demoted to a menial job discloses that the Fouts tirades were aimed at two former ex-employees of the city, former communications director Joe Munem, and former assistant city attorney Jeff Schroder.
On the tapes, the mayor envisions different kinds of bodily harm he would like to inflict on Munem and Schroder, both political foes.
For “f------ Munem,” Fouts said, he would use a baseball bat, or a two-by-four or a gun to inflict the necessary damage. As for Schroder, Fouts said he would simply “rip his f------ a-- out.”
Which brings us to the photo below and what the truth may be about why Munem is seen here nursing a head wound. Hmmm.
